Full-Featured Remote Management
Overview
The system uses an embedded cellular DTU to connect your pump controller to the cloud. It communicates over RS-485/Modbus and sends data via 4G, 5G, or Wi-Fi. From a web portal, you can issue commands, adjust setpoints, and receive alerts. The system works with Modbus RTU/TCP and MQTT, so it integrates with most existing SCADA systems without major changes. A SIM card comes pre-installed, and the first year of data service is included. If you prefer, you can also choose alternative data plans or deploy the system on your own private network.
Every unit gets a unique ID with its own service log. The system automatically records energy output, revenue, and CO₂/SO₂ savings, and presents everything on a single dashboard. If you offer prepaid billing to your end users, the system supports that too, with automatic recharge alerts. This technology also builds in the technical foundation to support financial inclusion initiatives — enabling pay-as-you-go models and micro-financing for off-grid communities.
Monitoring & Control
A GIS map shows all your sites with color-coded status — online, offline, or fault. You can start, stop, schedule, emergency shut down, or reset a fault from your computer or phone. A single-line diagram displays the power flow path, with voltage, current, and frequency shown on gauge-style dials. In a mountain project in Uganda, this solution reduced on-site maintenance visits by 38% — a real-world example of what remote operations can do in tough terrain.
Diagnostics & Maintenance
The system monitors key parameters in real time and sends alerts when values cross your preset thresholds. It keeps historical trend curves and event logs for fault analysis. You can change settings, schedule tasks, and update firmware remotely through the cloud interface.
In short, this solution moves pump management out of the field and onto your screen — fewer site visits, less downtime, lower service costs, and full visibility into your financials. Procurement gets a single system to manage. Engineers get tools that actually work. And because the system tracks energy use and emissions, it helps you cut waste and document your progress toward carbon reduction goals — one pump station at a time.
